BBC Newsround wanted to mark Holocaust Memorial Day 2019 with a special programme to educate their audience about what the Holocaust is and why it is important not to forget what happened.
Author Anthony Horowitz narrates how Hitler & Nazi Germany orchestrated the Holocaust and life inside concentration camps.
When storyboarding we kept our target audience in mind and avoided any clear scenes of violence, whilst while still managing to illustrate the horrors of those times.
We were very honoured when our animation was nominated at the 2019 RTS Craft & Design Awards in the Design Programme Content Sequences category.
