"Windrush - Finding My Family: A Newsround Special" follows Maya and Levi on their journey to the Caribbean islands to see where their granddads grew up and what they left behind.
In 1948 The Empire Windrush arrived in the UK, where many Caribbean people wanted to find work and start a new life - BBC Newsround asked us to create a two-part animation about their hopes, dreams and struggles.
We were very humbled to receive a nomination at the 2018 RTS Craft & Design Awards in the Design Programme Content Sequence category.
We were also invited to the Houses of Parliament for a special screening hosted by Baroness Floella Benjamin - who narrates the animation.
