In China millions of children live apart from their parents, who have to move to the huge Mega-Cities to work in factories.
BBC's Newsround tells the story of one of them and we animated it in two parts.
We first show the rapid growth of China over the last 30 years and the impact that has had on the people and in part two we illustrate the story of Tang Yuwen, a young boy whose parents both work away in the City and how only gets to see them twice a year.

We were very pleased when the animation was awarded at the 2016 RTS Craft & Design Awards in the Design Programme Content Sequences category.
The animation was also selected and screened at the 2017 Encounters Festival.
